Workers’ Compensation/Social Security Paralegal
Front Office Administration
Lisa has worked with Martin Alvey for more than 13 years, and has turned her hand to nearly every task necessary to make the office run. She is a tireless advocate of injured and disabled people, and finds her work helping clients very rewarding.
A life-long Oregon resident, Lisa is always seeking new challenges. In her spare time, she is a volunteer for Legacy’s Trauma Nurses Talk Tough, which distributes bicycle helmets to children to help reduce brain trauma from bicycle accidents.
Lisa is also a volunteer member of the Board of Directors for Sparks of Hope. Sparks of Hope is a non-profit organization close to Lisa’s heart, which empowers children who are survivors of physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse by creating opportunities to develop trust and healing.
Thelma Sanchez Murphy
Thelma handles intake, processing medical files for personal injury litigation claims, scheduling, and legal processes for Alvey Law Group’s clients.
With more than 21 years experience as a paralegal, Thelma understands how frustrating the claims process can be for an injured person. Her favorite part of her job is helping clients to a successful resolution of their case.
Raised in Salem, Thelma resides in Beaverton, Oregon, where she is a volunteer mediator for the city. Thelma is a mother of three, and an avid exerciser. She spends as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren – preferably in the beautiful Oregon outdoors.
